I got to my appt almost 30 min early. Was told it would be about an hour total for an oil change. I was waiting for my car for nearly 3.5 hours!! I was not the only person that was there for an appointment waiting an extreme amount of time. This was absolutely ridiculous wait time for an oil change!!

Dropped car off night before. Only a few people left, service department was closed. The gentleman who wasn't in service helped so much with getting information for key drop and giving direction. Kind a courteous.

Staff at this VW location are always helpful, expedient and professional. Excellent service as always! Also, I was going to have awhile to wait on my vehicle due to several services and a porter was helpful in driving me to a location nearby to grab food. Appreciated that top notch service!

My experience with VW dealerships in Brazil was quite different. Here in the US, it's efficient and straightforward – get in, get the maintenance done, get out. I appreciate that directness, it's certainly the American way. However, coming from Brazil, I'm used to a more personalized approach. Simple things like a car wash or a conversation about the car beyond the immediate maintenance would make a big difference.
In Brazil, a routine maintenance visit felt like an event. Dealerships fostered a sense of appreciation, making you feel genuinely welcome. They encouraged interaction, offering opportunities to observe the maintenance process and even speak with the mechanics directly. It felt like they knew you were coming and were prepared for your visit. This created a much more positive experience, especially for car enthusiasts like myself.
While I understand the American emphasis on speed and efficiency, my previous experiences with VW led me to expect a more personal touch.
