Front-wheel drive models achieve up to an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. Move up to all-wheel drive version, and the Atlas achieves 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.
Technology
The upscale SUV boasts a 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment platform featuring Apple Car Play and Android Auto integration. Standard technology is available at a high level, including a wireless phone charger and six USB-C ports.
Safety
The new Atlas has achieved a five-star crash test rating from the NHTSA. There are plenty of standard driver-assist features for drivers to use. The standard driver-assist technology includes forward collision warning and automatic braking. Among the standard safety features is blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alerts.
